We'll make this short and sweet, because you only really want to know two things. How can this "association" increase my business? And what is it going to cost me? The easier question to answer is the second one. There is no cost to have your establishment listed on the International Association of Sports Bars and Pubs website. Zero!!!

There is an annual ten dollar fee to participate in our events, but if we can't increase your business by ten dollars we shouldn't be doing this.

Ok, so how will we help increase your business. All that we ask is that you supply us with information pertaining to your establishment. Hours of service, menu, drinks available, games on site, teams that you support, pictures of your staff, website address, and so forth, and we will continue to list you on our site which will be in front of hundreds of thousands of future patrons. Make sure you let us know if you are a Broncos bar, or a Florida State bar and we will include you in those listings as well.

We will hold events throughout the year to increase your visibility as well as our own. For 2011 we are preparing a College Basketball Bracket Challenge. Quite simply your patrons will be eligible to submit their brackets and compete versus other IASBP patrons for cash prizes. They will only be eligible to enter if you are an IASBP patron.

In the spring we will sponsor a fantasy baseball event where live drafts will be conducted at your establishment. The entrants teams will then be eligible to compete against other IASBP patrons for cash prizes. We will do the same in the fall for the football season.

As our business increases, your business should see the benefits. Our goal for 2012 is to host an IASBP exposition in Las Vegas in the summer. At this exposition you will be able to meet and interact with members of the sports bar industry ranging from brewers to the various vendors and manufacturers that make this industry run. Admission to this event will be free for up to eight key members of your organization.

Also in 2012 we would like to start our IASBP billiards and dart championships. The opportunity for your patrons to compete on a weekly basis at your establishment against each other and then the winners would qualify for an international IASBP event. All you have to do is coordinate your local event and welcome some new patrons. We will coordinate the international event.

As you can see our goals are to increase our visibility and have more and more people aware of what we are doing. To achieve that we have to help you get more patrons. We are working on the assumption that if we can help you bring in one more patron, your business will increase by at least ten dollars. We will try to bring in more than that.
