Eastern/Atlantic www.76ers.com 2006 Draft Picks

General Manager Billy King With three picks in the first round the Sixers can choose the best player on the board. Florida State's Al Thornton appears to be the one.

While not a finished product, Colorado State's Jason Smith should provide help in the frontcourt while splitting time between the four and the five.

Having addressed some needs with two earlier picks, the Sixers should look for a little more explosiveness here. A push guy at the point would help this roster that has a few interesting options on the wings. Gabe Pruitt from USC has the ability to get his own or kick to others.
